Draught at Craft Beer Co. Deep red-amber with a bubbly thin head. Big, fruity, estery (peach) aroma, with watermelon. Earthy like a biere de garde. Dusty, fruity flavor, spicy and earthy, very sweet and not all that pleasant.

Cask at the Defectors Weld. It pours clear chesnut brown, with a very thin bubbly off-white head and low carbonation. The nose is wood, caramel sweetness, dust and nut. The taste is caramel, chocolate, toffee, roasted malt, coffee, toast and oak, with a bitter-dry finish. Finish duration is very, very long. A pleasant brew indeed.

Cask conditioned at the Bree Louise, London 11/1/2011. Deep amber with a decent off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma with some nuts, fruit and a touch of roastiness. Flavour was much the same, with plenty of caramel and chewy malts before a decent, bitter finish. Good.
