Piraat Tripel Hop is een licht amberkleurig bier van hoge gisting met nagisting op fles en op vat. De smaak is uitgesproken hoppig en bevat een droge afdronk. 4 extra hopsoorten worden toegevoegd aan de klassieke Piraat en de selectie hiervan verandert elk jaar in functie van de beschikbaarheid van de hopvarianten. De toevoeging gebeurt tijdens 3 verschillende fases, waarvan 1 door middel van dry-hopping, waarbij de hop (Cascade) wordt toegevoegd in de lagertank tijdens het rijpen.

Bottle in a pack from Lidl in Letchworth. Good pour and a really rich, quaffable and genuinely enjoyable beer. I didn't notice the alcohol and I'm disappointed I only have one.

It was not my favourite beer. The alcool is not well hidden, burning the throat, malt and hop but not well done. 11.10.17, thanks Luigi for this bottle, drinking it at Prélaz, Lausanne.

0.33 l bottle. Pours deep golden with a thin, but long lasting head. Aromas like a sweet blonde ale, alcohol appears with warming. Bittersweet taste with hints of grass, alcohol, some vegetables. Leaves warm mouthfeel with long lasting bitterish finish. Medium to heavy body, softly carbonated. Altogether not bad, but somehow this mix of aromas make up something messy.

23/01/25 Aromat typowy dla belgijskich piw przyprawy i może trochę chmielu takiego sosnowego. Biała piana obfita, złociste klarowne. Smak goryczki jest dość duża, słodycz niska bardziej wytrawne. Nagazowanie duże, treściwość średnia, gładkie ale trochę chmiel czuć na finiszu, alkohol rozgrzewa. Ogólnie piwo belgijskie z elementami chmielowymi, można się napić ale nic specjalnego.

# 4553; 2/2025. Aroma of honey, fruits and herbs, resiny. Murky gold body; persistent lacing off-white head. Honey, herbal, fruity, alcohol warmth; light clovy. Fuller body; medium carbonation. Good, slightly unbalanced and simplier strong belgian ale. 0,33 l, bottle, supermarket, Bad Liebenzell (Swabia, Germany). BB 30.3.2025

Aroma of sweet malt, ripe fruits, spicy yeast, light hops. Flavour is medium to heavy sweet with a moderate bitter finish. A bit disappointing.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano impressioni di luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato si riportano indizi di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi, pompelmo e ananas.

Аромат прежде всего пшеничный, немного хмеля, нотки алкоголя, цветочный тон, пыльца от нее, немного цитруса. Цвет золотой, пена очень пышная и стойкая. Вкус хороший и по стилю. Главный минус наверно в сильным душке от алкашки, по крайне мере в конце. А так есть много пшеницы, цветочные нотки, немного меда и даже специй. При глотке легкая горчинка от хмеля. Снова цитрусовые, но немного. В целом нормальный эль.
