Bottle purchased at Le Petit Casino: pours gold with white head. Bad metallic, vegetal aroma. Not sure what percentage should be attributed to the clear bottle and how much to the mediocre brewing. Taste is sweetish, light actual bitterness at the end. Not great.

13/12/2025. Bottle bought at a mini-market in Deshaies, Guadeloupe. Enjoyed on Marella Discovery 2 during the sea day voyage en route to Bonaire. Clear pale gold pour. Aroma is buttery, bready, sweet malts, raw pastry. Quite sweet with mild bitterness. Moderate body, quite smooth, light sparkling carbonation. It’s okay. Previous rating: 20/12/2023. Bottle shared by Nisse666, cheers. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy, white sugars, floral fruity vaguely berry edge. Quite sweet with mild bitterness. Light body, watery, average carbonation. Fair.

Has minimal foam and soft yellow body, smells of soft sugar and grain. Flavour is all soft sweet grain, mouthfeel is full but there's a wonky aftertaste. It's not bad at all, probably helped to have it on tap at the airport and extra cold.

Many thanks to Minutemat for sharing this bottle! Grainy smooth beginning. No real bitterness here. Round and malty. Sessionable, round and refreshing with a nice smooth malty grainy aftertaste. Round, grainy, not too deep but easy sessionable.

30th Jan 2018. Cheers mat for bringing this clear 330ml bottle to the monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. 'Original' on the label, we had the 'Pilsner' next. This is golden coloured with the usual Pilsner/Lager white head that fades very swiftly. Sweetcorn and damp cardboard flavour wise, not much of an aroma either. Country tick done, the Gwada Pilsner was a little better thank goodness.
