(Gravicask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 20 May 2010) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of black coffee and dark chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, tobacco, dark chocolate and a certain coffee bitterness in a dry finish. Slightly above medium body, fairly dry (despite the rather high alcohol level). Well made and tasty, highly drinkable for its strength.
