Cask Conditioned at Market Porter, London
Hazy red-amber color. It has a mild but nice malt and caramel aroma, light hops, a bit perfumy, floreal. But the flavor is much simpler, just waterish caramel; correct bitterness. Ordinary.

Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 22 Nov 2008. Reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with dark fruit and caramel. Malty taste with notes of dark fruit, raisins, prunes, cherries and a slightly bittersweet finish. Medium body, rather sweet. Good standard bitter. Nice but hardly stunning.

Cask-conditioned at the brewery tap, the Lamb, Frome, 6/12/08. Reddish amber with no head. Sweet, sugared fruit and caramel aroma. Flavour was syrupy, with a hint of diacetyl, some more fruitiness and a short, bitter finish. Not my favourite Blindmans beer by a long way.
