St. Denise La Réserve de L’Abbesse. Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en fruitig met iets van vanille, citrus en karamel. Mist helaas net iets om een echte topper te zijn.

Bottle @ home. [As St. Denise La Réserve de L’Abbesse] Clear orange color, lots of medium sized yeast particles floating around, small to medium sized mostly diminishing white to off-white head. Smell a lot of malts, yeast, dust and wort. Taste lightly sweet, dust, lightly musty and wort. Low to medium body, little bit fizzy carbo.

Bottle, courtesy of Dedollewaitor. As St. Denise Reserve de lAbbesse. A clear, golden beer with a nice, dense, off-white head. Spiced nose with some banana and lemon hints. Some malts too. The flavor is fruity and spiced, some bitterness blending in. A little bitterness and spicyness in the end, which is mostly fruity. Quite decent, but overall a bit too sugary. 100814
