Odyssey Best Bitter - A full-bodied balance of maltiness, gentle coffee notes and smooth, slightly sweet flavours builds to a clean bitterness with hints of marmalade.

Cask, pint at Bisops Arms (Västra Hamngatan) on January 13, 2006. Called Odyssey Best Bitter, but seems to be the same (4%) as the one described here.A very dissapointing real ale, pretty much no scent at all, and the flavor only has a little bit of bitterness, virtually nothing else. I want more in my beers than this had to offer.3/3/3/3/7=1.9

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A brown beer with a thin off-white head. A very dark color for a Bitter. The aroma is quity light with nutty notes and esters. The flavor is nutty combined with roasted malt, leading to a good hoppy dry bitter end.

Cask at White Horse, Dover Had this once before at the Red Lion, Snargate at their summer beer festival and thought that it was a bit bland then. It has a rich deep brown colour but then after that it has some good malt flavours but doesn’t really go anywhere. Not enough structure or balance to make it interesting
