On tap at Kaķis Maisā, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma has sweaty, washed out hops, with some bready malt in back. Flavour reveals a tragically bad hop expansion—sweaty, armrpity, just tired and muffled. How do you use such a great hop bill and produce such a crappy hop expression? It’s not the hops. This ain’t good.

Taster at Beera bar, Riga. Almost clear, deep gold colored. AROMA- lots of citrus resins, some alcohol. FLAVOR- slightly sweet at first, dry finish, moderately bitter, warming, citrus and pine resins, orange tic tac. Fuller bodied.

Can from Pivný raj Classic West coast DIPA. On paper it sounded great. In reality? Boozy. So boozy you barely feel anything else...
