A decadant stout brewed with a variety of speciality malts then barrel aged for 8 months in Scottish Whiskey barrels.
Delivering rich cocoa and sweet dark fruit aromas and flavours up front, leading into warm whisky, sherry and oak notes with a silky smooth finish.

Gravity pour at Steel City 49 - opaque black body with no head. Boozy nose, lots of roasted notes, slightly creamy, vanilla, cake fruit, good smoky whisky character.

Bottle picked up at the brewery by Lucky Otter, Bradfield’s number 1 fan. Cheers Mark! Fairly unctuous on the pour. Sits black. Messy lasting soppy beige foam. Nose has fruit cake mix. Demerara sugar. Soft oaky vanilla notes off the barrel. Taste is semi sweet with an oaky dark chocolate bitterness. Super easy drinking throughout. Hint of warmth. Big cocoa bitter finish. Unreal this is the same brewer that bangs out shite like Belgian Blue.
