Handpull cask at the Brunswick, Derby. The beer is dark brown, translucent with a spotting of off-white head. Light suggestion on chocolate malt and a bit of coffee in the aroma sweet taste with some buttering hop and some vegetable character in the finish. Slight watery body with scant carbonation. A bit disappointing to be honest.

Cask at Brunswick, Derby – in a glass that had seen better days Have drunk this many a time before, but never rated it. Pours a dark reddish brown with a small transient cream head. Nose is dark fruits with a hint of coffee. Dark fruits again in the mouth, with roasted malts and liquorice. A fruity finish to round things off. Not as good as I remember it being.
