Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured an unclear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, slightly watery, malt, yeasty light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some earth, mild dusty notes as well as some herbs. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild nectar as well as some bready and earthy maltiness to it. Balanced, but nothing that special. Standard golden ale.

Surprisingly don’t seem to have ever drunk this before – let alone rated it. Anyway, cask at Brunswick, Derby. Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. Not much of sn sroms, just some floral hops. In the mouth the floral hops are more prominent along with ctirs, tangerine, and some underlying caramel. Overall it is slightly sweet. Finish is dry with some sticky citrus. It’s OK, but not the sort of beer I usually go for.
