Handpull cask from the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Golden and clear with a large white head. Grass and astringency in the aroma, with a vague suggestion of hops. Tastes somewhat bitter with a strong presence of sulphur. Not great but passable.

Decided to leave this copiwd and pasted note unedited. Went to Derby on a match day with a Geordie mate. He wasn’l allowed in to the Brunswick Arms, so I got my 300 Beers To Try Before You Die tock and scarpered: Zil aroma. V light watery. light gold. ok head. M bitter , sweet finish. Hops are obvious. Decent enough.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 19th June 2016. Light golden pour, clear and clean looking, the head a well formed white foam blanket. Mild fruity front to the nose and taste, more hops than malts: OK but lacked depth and oomph.

Cask @ New Brew-m, Burnley. Clear golden with a thin head. Has a very dry fruitiness in its nose with a less stated taste that’s more crisp than flavoursome.
