Bottle. Except for decent co2 on the palate, this is an IPA. Looks like a yuengy. Bitter hop obsession fer sure. Long bitter nearly astringent finish. Enough already.

On tap at Pinthouse Pizza South Lamar. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and pine. Medium body, wheat, floral, citrus, light finish, decent.

Odd, I was expecting a whole bunch lot more out of this. Aroma was like stinky feet. Great appearance with a long lasting head and lots of lace. Bittersweet, but not much hope flavor.

Bottle. Floral/lactic orange caramel malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Amber with moderate head. Moderately sweet citrus caramel malt and mildly bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body. Pretty sweet and malty - not a lot of hops.

Bottle: Amber, with a thick, light tan head. Orange, pine scent. Taste is slightly spicy, orange-peel, orange malt...light toffee malt. Nothing new, but a nice flavour.

On tap at the Brewpub in Portland. Dark orange with a white head. Fresh with hops, some malt, caramel and light pineapple. A decent one.

12oz bottle. Man, Deschutes really is weak these days. Medium to full bodied. Crystal malt heavy, drab APA meets American Strong Ale. Overall just strikes me as cheap, streamlined. Drinkable, but uninspired.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 11/22/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, mango, melon, pepper, wood, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, mango, melon, pepper, wood, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, mango, melon, pepper, wood, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fair amount of dryness after the finish from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
