Medium offwhite fine-laced head. Darkish red-brown body. Sweetish dusty caramel and cinnamon aroma with earthy notes. Earthy cinnamon taste with roasty notes. Bitterish throughout. Bitter, metallic aftertaste. Thin-bodied. Not too well balanced, but drinkable. (1.5l plastic bottle.)

(PET-bottle at RBESG 2006) Clear brown color, tan head. Small a bit sweet scent. Malty odd taste. My last beer at this years RBESG.

[At RBESG 2006] An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, while the flavor also is sweet malty, but the notes of caramel is more pronounced in the flavor than in the aroma.

(Plastic bottle 125 cl) Pretty, clear amber with a handsome, creamy head leaving some lacework. Malty, roasted nose. Rather light-bodied with malty, roasted notes and a bit too heavy carbonation. 021205

Bottle. (1,25 liter PET bottle) Dark copper coloured with off-white head. Surprisingly weak aroma. According to the brewery this is the same beer as the now retired Bayer. I remember Bayer as a beer with more aroma and taste. There is some sweet malts and a little roastiness in Magnum Mørk. Hops in the end. (050925)

Bottled. Amber colour. Sweet with clean hard mouthfeel. Vaguely roasty. No bitterness. Very much lacking in malt character.

Reddish brown beer with a good head. Weak aroma. This is supposed to be some kind of Munich Dunkel, but isn't nearly as good as the best Dunkels ("Bayer" in Norway). Pils + colour is not enough to make a good Dunkel, a decent amount of malts is needed too! Thin and watery mouthfeel like most CB beers. Still, there's more flavour in this one than in CB's bland pilseners. Not as sweet as I expected, at least you can taste the hops. Drinkable, but not much more.
