12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy burnt orange with about 4 fingers of thick white head. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Lots of citrus with a little dash of caramel. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, very good. I could drink this every day.

Red-amber color, hazy; small head. This little Ale has a very good, and quite sweet, caramel flavor, and the fruity hops are rather perfumy, a bit resiny on the palate. Fully enjoyable.

Bottled@GBBF2010. Slightly hazy pale reddish orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and also has some mild liquorice. Also some quite strong bready malts. Flavour is bready malts, crystal malts as well as some floral and grassy hops. More sweet notes appear once it warms up a bit.

This Pale Ale poured a clear, medium orange colour with a rocky, white head. To the nose there are scents of heavy malt, caramel, Marmite, licorice and cooked veg. First swig was smooth and under-carbonated. Almost flat. Very rich malt flavour. Other flavours include vanilla, ripe fruit and caramel. Finish is slightly oily with a little hoppy bitterness on the tongue.

Bottle from GBBF 2010. Hey itβs an English Pale Ale!!!! Well it has some earthiness on the aroma which could be English hops. They must have used a lot of EKG to get that much good earthy grapefruit into it. Lovely though, that is what EKG can be, but most brewers are too afraid to use that amount in the UK. Still itβs an American Pale Ale surely? Oh well. Given it blind that is what I would put it down as. Some good bitterness on the finish, I just love the hops though. Stunning symphony to Bramling Cross and EKG. And not harsh on the carbonation either.

12oz bottle. Hazy, golden bronze color. Oily, thin head. Fruity, with some English qualities. Medium bodied, the alcohol is well hidden in the mild, soapy bitterness. Even so, the strength is a tad awkward for the style, sometimes a little too brash. Probably pretty nice fresh at the brewery, but after months in the bottle it isnβt that exciting.
