Clear pale blond appearance. This is a light and refreshing bitter with a touch of citrus. Not very flavoursome.

0,5L bottle. Pours clear golden with white head, the head stays. Aroma: honey sweetness and fruits. Taste is sour, mild sweetness, fruity, faint bitterness in the background. Finish has some light bitterness, but feels very watery. Overall: rather light beer, but drinkable.

Cask on a visit back to Preston. Could hardly seem to move for the stuff! Pale gold, good white head. Light floral/grassy hops, light caramel. Nice balance on the taste, good finish. Not bad.

Bottle, thanks to Mr C, on the train from Inverness to Hereford 21/10/13. Clear light golden with a moderately sized white head. Nose is toasted malt, faint orange, straw, light caramel strains. Taste follows, nothing more to add. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry grass lead bitterness at home time. Innoffensive, boring, forgettable.

Golden color. Frothy white head, fairly indistinguishable from any other English bitter but decent enough.

Pours a lovely pale gold, with a thin white, short-lived head. Herbal hops and toffee malt nose. Taste is bitter-sweet, but finishes watery and thin. Better on cask.
