Courtesy of ogivlado who got it in Budapest and shared with me (thanks!) Poured a hazy orange body with a big, huge chalky thick white head. Gluey banana nose, some alcohol, soft and chalky. Nice soft gluey weizenbock taste ruined by way too much alcohol for 6.5%. It has much potential though.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Hazy medium orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy yeasty, phenol, fruity, banana, butter notes. Flavor is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, banana, sweet sweet, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Way to sweet IMO ... [20100809]

(screw-cap-bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized blond foamy head. Sweet, grainy, moderately wheaty aroma with overripe citrus-fruits and a touch of vanilla. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate, almost crispy carbonation. Yeasty and wheat-malty, grainy taste with rather soft fruity notes; sweet, minimal-sour finish with notes of cereals, a light phenolic touch and an assertive fruity aftertaste with an an almost undetectable alcohol. Well-done, still refreshing Weizen-Bock.
