6/III/14 - 33cl bottle from De Zytholoog / Bierloods (Adegem) @ home - BB: V/2014 (2014-253)

Clear dark orange beer, irregular fizzy white head, unstable, dissipates very quickly. Aroma: sweet malts, carmel, honey, bit floral, spicy touch, grains, some cardboard. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, some honey, bit sugary, very watery impression. Aftertaste: bit sweet, caramel, sugary, some honey, watery. Meh. At least it's not infected like the last Saint-Monon I had. :p

Gushing as hell, yet head gone in secs; fully muddy, mossy-brown beer. Lightly sourish, quite spicy nose, spicy bread/gingerbread, cypress. Lightly smoked taste, very light acidity with background spices. Sweetish-sourish, very little or no bitterness, despite the spices. Slightly spritzy, restrained slickness, light to medium bodied. Remarkable. All signs indicate an undeniable infection. And yet - I must confess to be rather taken in it. Thanks to Ignace for the bottlewatch!
