Bottle (kindly donated by Quack-Duck!): Hazy, amber coloured, smaller off-white lacy head, cherries, almonds, alcohol and chocolates in the nose: i.e. a liquid german Mon Cherie praliné; pretty solid sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied; slightly drier almondy and chocolatey finish. Not that bad....

(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Sweet malty and nutty aroma with distinctive notes of vanilla, accompanied by a touch of cherries and chocolate. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Slightly sugary malt-accented taste with Montcherry-character, including notes of chocolate, cherries and vanilla; sweet and assertive, moderately spicy finish. Not bad at all. 17.IV.12

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy, carame - caramel, "laber larver" butterscotch. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet sweet burnt caramel, and some more caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Nothing wrong with beer just tomuch sweet caramel for me. [20100709]

clear brown, almost no head. very intensely sweet mild caramel and chocolate aroma. flavor is sweet caramelly, not as extreme as the aroma. this beer is very sweet and very cloying, but in a way it might work over vanilla ice, or as a sort of dessert wine. i would never drink a bottle on my own.
