Hand-pulled half-pint at a beer festival in the Anvil (Shifnal, Shropshire) on 11th October 2024. Clean golden pour, white crown. An interesting hybrid sort of beer to me, half lager, half pale ale, enjoyed it.

Gravity cask at the Land Rover Beer Festival 2016. Poured a crystal clear light straw colour with a bubbly round head. The aroma is yeast nettle floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp hop, light toothpaste citrus palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. One of the better Downton beers.

Cask, half pint at Priory Arms, South Lambeth. Good lacing from a low white head. Clear golden body. Herbal hops on the nose. Modest taste profile of noble hops and pale malts. Clean in the mouth. No much taste, but quite alright with the burger (London 29.11.2015).
