Vinternattens Ljus 5,8% En mörk värmande ale i vintermörkret doft av bränt socker kryddor, smak mörk choklad med en viss brändhet, brödighet humle arom som kitlar i bakgrunden avsultnings vis så kommer det lite kryddor. Passar till all typ av mat eller bara som en god Ale framför brasan. Pröva denna Ale med en liten Choklad bit med chilli i.

330ml bottle from Systembolaget e-beställning, picked up in Kiruna and shared with Finn. Huge, creamy, off-white head. Nice mahogany coloured body. Smell of dark malts added by a spicy touch. Display of cinnamon spices in the flavour, supported by earthy malts and herbal hops. Modest endnotes of spicy bitterness. Ok, however, rather too much of the spicy part (session at Finns, Tromsø 16.05.2012).

Flaske 0,33l fra Systembolaget, e-beställning. Kjøpt sammen med Rune og delt under rateseanse i H9 16 Mai 12. Dyp amber på farge. Kjempehøyt, litt luftig skum med farge. Fester seg litt til glasset. God krydret & fruktig aroma. Smaken litt tynn men inneholder en del krydder. Avslutter tørt, fruktig & litt bittert. + for nydelig navn og pen etikett. Gir absolutt vinterstemning.

Bottle.Trade with omhper. Many thanks Per ! Brown color , with a big froathy beige head. Sweet malty taste with roasted and chocolate notes. Nutty flavor, some caramel, a little bit of licorice. Nice overall but nothing over exciting.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 1 Oct 2011) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, Christmas spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and a slight touch of acidity in the background. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, spices, cinnamon, coffee and a spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just at touch of sweetness. Spicy and quite nice.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2011) - Dark brown with red tinges. Fruity and malty aroma with hints of caramel, dried fruit and spice. The taste is malty, fruity and slightly sweet with notes of tangy dried fruit and caramel standing out.

Bottle bought at Systembolaget in Ystad. Dark brown with a medium head. Malt, spices, perfume, fruit. Also some light roasted notes. Medium body with plenty of carbonation. Drinkable but nothing special.

Draft @ Bishops Arms, Malmö. Pours a dark ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some spicy hints. Fruity malty caramel and dark fruit flavor with some spicy hints. Has a fruity malty spicy finish.
