Bottle (thanx to MoritzF): Golden coloured, medium-sized creamy white head, lively carbonation; faint fruity (bananas, cloves)- wheaty nose; faint sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied; short grainy, fruity finish. Really not unpleasant, but kind of tasteless..........

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a big and persistent white foamy head. Sweet and slightly sourish malty nose with a strong yeasty note but a faint banana-like fruitiness. Sweet and slightly sour flavour; light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Strong yeasty and malty taste with restrained fruit- and wheat-character; slim and rather short finish with traces of bitter hops and light clovy notes.

Test vom 3.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,8,11,9,8,10 - 9,70

The best Kristall Weizen I have ever tasted. Is everything I would expect from this type of beer. Aroma is wheat malt and bananas. Clear golden yellow color. Clean, clear and crisp flavor with banana, peach and wheat flavor. Comparable in taste to even the best Hefes - this beer should be considered the standard that other Kristall Weizens are measured.
