In order to establish this mead we have combined the traditional brew with dried hibiscus. In addition to the color this spice adds an aromatic and floral aftertaste to this mead, like a good madeira.

Pours clear dark golden. Honey, herbal, leather, sweet malts.

Draught @ now defuct Beer Run Harlem, Manhattan NYC (Apr 2025). Clear amber-red, apple aroma, sweet honey taste with strong alcohol overtones and apple flavor, smooth body, long finish. Smooth and very flavorful.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il vinoso. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è non invadente e c'è anche un tocco di moderatamente acidulo. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul tetto della bocca si fermano sentori di agrumi, uvetta bagnata nel rum, etilico e alcol presente.

Draft: Poured a pink with no head. Aroma is floral, honey, spicy. Taste is earthy, floral, honey and spices.

Tap at the birch Norfolk Virginia. A clear golden amber coloured pour with no head. Aroma is alcohol, earthy amber, ginger.. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, woody ginger, tangy, brown sugars, amber sugars, alcohol, earthy honey. Palate is sticky sugary. Moderate fine carbonation.

This is good. The high alcohol is noticeable in the aroma and flavor. Elderflower is there, as well as 5he hope. Good 0akate and medium sweet.
