I’ve had this multiple times before, kind of surprised that I haven’t rated it. Handpull cask at the Queen Edith, Cambridge. Dark brown with a hint of magenta. Tightish tan-grey head on top which quickly dissipates. Lots of lacing. Liquorice and raisin are inter fused with sharp plum in the aroma. Bittersweet, juicy taste, dominated by the damson but that’s no bad things. Bittering hops sit stubbornly on the tongue in the long finish. More liquorice and some charcoal in the aftertaste. Pretty good and it grows on me over the course of the pint which is always a good sign.
