500 mL bottle from Once Upon a Vine, Richmond, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of big sweet malts, grassy hops, light toastiness and sweatiness. The taste is grassy hops, sweet grainy notes, caramel and light fruity notes. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied. Pretty good for the style. 5/26/10

Karpacky. Premium. Had this at the Pittsburgh Great European Beer Festival at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium 6/2010. Typical pale lager eye. Some veggie aroma on this one. Good CO2 on the palate. Taste is a tad bitter. Overall OK and friendly for the most part. Slight rude lager finish that lingers for a moment or two.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse. Clear pale gold beer. Very little head. Crisp light palate. Light malt and a tiny bit of hop fruit. Finishes dry. Dull and tastless - a pretty gruesome lager!

Canned 500ml. -found somewhere in Budapest. Golden coloured, small to medium sized white head that went away slowly, slight grainy nose. Light malty, weak grainy and slight caramel taste with notes of cereals. Short bitterish finish. Boring.

Can brought from Budapest by ogivlado and shared with me (thanks!) Poured a slightly darker golden body with a medium sized thick white head. Light lemony nose, slightly sweetish, nice. Light drinkable taste. A one trick pony, just some hop bitterness clinging to the back of my mouth. Light bitterness in the aftertaste too. Probably would’ve scored a bit worse in a different competition (read: it was a passable beer surrounded mostly by crap).
