Latin for 'forever upwards' and signified by the soaring Yorkshire Red Kite. Three times SIBA national champion and the strongest beer in our core range.
Tropical - Dry Hopped Pale
A classic pale ale, brewed from British pale malt and US Cascade hops. Smooth, fruity and full- bodied, with a deceptive bitterness to complement its alcohol strength. Refreshing citrus hop aromas complete the sensory pleasure.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 15 July 2026) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and citrus peel. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, grass, pine needles, crackers and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Hoppy and refreshing. Nice one.

Ossett Official Pub Walking Tour Beer#1. Starting in The Vic on the edge of the town of Ossett with this clear blond pumped up strength citrus ale. There's lots of hoppiness with grapefruit providing the favourable flavour here. Looks good and this sunny day is enhancing that. .

Aromas of citrus, some exotic fruit, and a touch of floral notes, with a light maltiness reminiscent of golden ale in the background. A small, white head. Clear, golden, citrusy, dry, with a crisp grapefruit bitterness from the very beginning. A truly pleasant beer with a distinct bitterness, which I like. Cheers!

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. Thereโs floral hops and melon in the aroma. In the mouth there is a brief burst of sweetness before it is swamped by bitterness of floral hops, along with marmalade and hints of alcoholic strength. Tropical fruits come through later as do traces of melon and mango. Finish is quite dry and bitter. This is decent.
