Herber, ziemlich trockener Beginn. Getreidig, geringe Süße, helles Malz, zunehemend bitter, damit allerdings auch etwas metallisch werdend. Eher kurzer Abgang. Trinkbar. 8/7/8/5/9/7

Gold with a frothy, white head. Grassy to herbal aroma. Taste is bitter the whole way through with a mild metallic note at the end. Body to the light side of medium, moderate carbonation, dry. Better than average pils.

Fles als Pils, ook een licht aangepast etiket (groen). Helder goudgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht kruidig met iets van hooi, wat appel en brood. Helaas bespeur ik een wat vreemde metaal achtige geur die niet echt past bij en pils bier.

50cl Fles van Getränke König. Als Pils. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Grassig, lichte hint van honing, moutig, hint van rode appels, grassig bittere finish. Lichte body. Prima pils, duidelijk anders dan de moderner gehopte Nr1.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg on the way back home after Maifield Derby Music Festival, Monday 2nd June 2025. Pours gold, good clarity, white head that swiftly droops. There is a good bitterness, a nice crispy bite and and dry at the end, a touch metallic but doesn't detract it's a good beer.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden, foamy head. Grass, hay, grain, sourdough, citrus. Hoppy bitterness, light malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable and nice Pilsner!
