A very traditional English Mild. Flavors of caramel, toffee, cocoa and dark fruit notes. Mild’s are brewed as a “session” style beer. “Session” beers are lower alcohol beers with lots of flavor, meant to be enjoyed during an extended day of good food and great company. Our version is brewed using 2-Row Barley and a combination of light and dark caramel malts.

Bottle from perrys. Highly carbonated. Pours clear Ruby mahogany, large foamy beige head, long lasting. Aroma is pretty cardboard, malt, roast. Flavor is medium sweet, malty, roasty, cardboard, meh, double meh. Huge carbonation on light body. Wonderful combination. I don’t know if this has been sitting on shelves for years, but no bueno.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of hops, leading to a dry chewy finish.

Bottle thanks to Wavers1. Pours reddish brown. Nose of caramel malt, slight honey, light hops and barley. Taste is barley, caramel malt and slight raisin in the finish. Body a bit thicker than expected, but still on the lightish side.

Hazy brown with a small white head. Fruity aroma with quite a bit of yeast. Sweetish thin fruit and malt flavour.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse.Clear medium to dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse. Thanks to Wavers1, Very hazy dark brown beer. Short lived light brown head. Crisp and very dry palate. Dry and bitter and soft. Chalky. A little lightly toasted malt. It’s all a bit of a mess and doesn’t join up at all - really not good at all.

A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, roasted malts, light apples, not bad. In mouth, a rather buttery malt, like toast with too much butter, light roasted malts, light bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 27 2009.
