A blend of seven different barrel-aged beers. Dark chocolate, molasses, dried fruit, licorice, and cherry complimented the vanilla and coconut from the oak, and caramel and roasted malts.

Bourbon, oak, and cinnamon nose. Black pour, thin tan head. Bourbon flavor with raisins and licorice appearing when warm. Charcoal finish. Sampled half the bottle chilled and the other half at the recommended 55 degrees, and never got as much complexity as I’ve heard and read about. Much better warm. Nicely balanced and good tasting, but probably overrated.

Bottle thanks to WeeheavySD, thanks Jon! Pours with a deep brown body and a fading off-white head. Aroma of oak, booze, more wood, chocolate and brown sugar. Decently bitter. Taste is oak, chocolate, wood, booze, brown sugar and cinnamon. Medium to light bubbles. Needs a ton more age. I actually think that 12 is the best beer in the series so far (although this has potential, a bit hot and young right now).
