Cask Conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm
Hazy dark amber color, big head. Aroma of English hops, Goldings, dry hop flowers. The body is quite weak, with a taste based on dry caramel, not very interesting.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Almost black colour with ruby hints, frothy beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of wild berries and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with dark fruit, wild berries (blackberries), chocolate and a dash of dark, earthy hops coming through in the finish. Very nice brew, leaning slightly in the porter direction.

Cask handpull at the Richard John Blackler (JDW), Liverpool. Black beer with brown edges, lasting beige head. So this is good. There has been a lot of traffic on Scoopgen about this beer. Some dark malts on aroma, good sourish dark fruits, bit of dark choc. Juicy, rather than powdery, but there is roasted dryness and some hop on end. Intense finish of sour fruit, bit of liquorice, some molasses. Oddly likeable. Not a bitter mind, more an old ale or porter.
