A pale yellow blanche with a thick creamy white head. A pleasant citrus and catnip aroma, homebrew like, but good. In mouth, a crisp catnip wit with light banana notes, a bit muddy, light wild fermentation. Not bad. Bieropholie import, bottle is about 1 year old.

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet with citrusy and dusty notes of hops. The flavor is sweet citrusy with a light note of acidity, leading to a dry bitter and citrusy finish.

Bottle at Chris_o’s The Wolf tasting. Phil_l said it was probably too old to get a rating out of it. To me it had the same problem as some of the other Panil beers. Yes it has some decent sourness, but they really do have to stop putting several hundred yards of wooden fencing in the copper when they do their boil!!!! At least there wasn’t any creosote on this one.

From bottle, no 14 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild yeasty and slight citric. Flavour holds a dry grassy flavour leading into slight yeasty spiced note. Finish is mild and slight spiced. Decent.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Slightly hazy pale golden with a creamy, white head. Lightly tart, citrusy aroma. Light and somewhat watery body with a vague, fruity sweetness and a spicy touch. Absolutely no bitterness. 301107

Cloudy blond color. Very light aroma, even less the flavor. Is there a light wheat? Maybe. Some plastic touch, and a fermentation issue too. Very bad.

Hazy blond color; very thin perlage, persistent; thin head. Original aroma, malty, cheesy, new oak barrel with spices (coriander, vanilla…). Medium body, soft, with light wheat character, some malt; the final is too light. Interesting.

Slightly hazy yellow-orange; small head. Coriander, rubber/sulphur (too outspoken), citrus. Citric taste, with perfumey lemon and orange flavours, and, of course, coriander. Medium bodied, refreshing qualities. Not too bad, citrussy is the good sign, even perfumed. If just that nose hadn’t...
