Hand-pulled half-pint in the William Webb Ellis, Twickenham on 13th January 2024. Pale golden pour, wisp and collar of thin white foam. Citrusy front, but not much going on really, all a bit subtle/bland and uninteresting for me.

Cask at the Hope & Champion, Beaconsfield. Poured a very slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, funky yeast. The flavour is light bitter, with light, watery, smooth, malt, yeasty, light woody hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Doesn’t inspire.

On cask at The Grafton, Kentish Town. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: citrus, overtly grapefruit, floral hop. Taste: light sweet & bitter, pale bread, lemon, grapefruit, grass. Light to medium body, soft carb, light dry finish. Not bad at all.

Bree Louise. Cask. Clear pale gold beer with a small white head. Palate is light and smooth with modest fine carbonation. Nice mix of light floralness and mellow grapefruit notes. Whisper of lime marmalade. Tiny hint of sulphur, not enough to be a problem. Light smooth finish. Good.

Cask at the William Webb Ellis, Twickeroony, 11/01/14. Clear golden with a good sized white head that thins and retains well, some lacing ensues. Nose carries floral hops, citrus, melon, soft bread dough, lemon rind, light orange squash, straw. Taste comprises lemon sherbet, orange pithdom, floral twang, hint of grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finale with grassy bitterness and citric tang. Decent GB affair.
