Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a small off-white head, which disappears quite fast. Aroma is caramel, some toffee, liquorice and mild toasted tones. Flavour is yeasty, some toffee, caramel, grains, a bit herbal and some metallic tones to it.

Tredje dag på slipp med Fridtjofen. Flaske (takk til Sigmund!) delt med skibsrederen etter en lang arbeidsdag: brunsvart med flott beige skum som varer. Fin aroma med mørke karameller, bjørnebær, cappucino og gammelt maritimt pakkhus. Saftig og god smak med mørke karameller, ristet brød, mild kaffe og fin bærsyre. En smaksrik, sterk og god mild - en uvanlig kombinasjon, men riktig så vellykket.

Bottle shared witj JMD on board Fridtjofen at Tau slipp og båtbyggeri 02.09.17. Ebony. Beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of fresh coffee, roasted barley, dark chocolate and piney hops.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with small white head. Aroma is malt, iron, rust, rye bread, sweet licorice and ammonium chloride. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and faint acidic. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and sweet with notes of rye bread, sweet licorice, plums, brown sugar and maple syrup. Sweet and nicely balanced.

Bottle at Løkken By Camping, Denmark. Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark bread, some coffee. Tastes sweet, some roasted bitterness. Medium bodied.

Hazy, very dark brown with lightbeige and airy froth. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and roast. Sweetish flavour, caramel, roast, a little fruit and perhaps nuts.

Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, caramel, and hint of chocolate and nuts. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
