Our craft stout is made with Pale Ale malt combined with flaked toasted barley alongside Amber and Chocolate malts, giving it the dark rich flavour. We use 100% Goldings hops, and the beer is nitrogenated to give its creamy head and velvety texture.

Cask, half-pint at Garrick’s Head, shared with Finn. Nitro creamy, fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing, near-black body. Aroma of cocoa, sweet. Lightly roasted malty flavours, hints of cocoa and chocolate joined by a touch of coffee towards the ending. Creamy mouth feel. Pleasing. (Bath 03.05.2017).

Keg @ The Three Tuns JDW, Blackrock [241015]
Black, dense nitro off white head
Aroma - Soft roast, bit of cereal
Taste of cereal roast, little dark malt, bit nondeScript, bit earthy, not an Irish stout but it’s OK
Palate - Medium body, smooth, light bitter. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - A plain stout. Think I prefer Guinness but it’s OK.
