Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown, almost opaque but has a vague orange hue and a small and creamy light brown head. Sweet aroma of hard roasted malt, licorice and vanilla. Solid body, lots of roast and licorice with a smooth and delicious vanilla touch. Some malt bitterness and a little tar, but the sweet licorice prevails. Delicious. 100910

Bottle. A more or less black beer, a dense, tan head that diminishes rather quickly sits on top. Sweetish, burnt nose with coffee and dried fruits. Some licorice and bonfire. It’s dry and full-bodied in the mouth, yet with a sweetness. Burnt malts and coffee, a pleasant bitterness chiming in towards the end. Can’t really decide about this one, it’s definately nice, but I couldn’t bring myself to lift the score any higher. Wouldn’t mind drinking more of it. 100806
