A traditional best bitter, but done the Moor way with extra flavour. Magic for beer drinkers!

Bottle from Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Dark amber pour with a slight haze and a thin off white head. Aroma was malt heavy and sweetish as was the flavour which had notes of orchard fruit, chocolate and nuts. A bit of grassy hop showed itself towards the finish. Not bad, if a bit disappointing.

bottle from Darts Farm (08/2010). Amber-golden, mid-sized head. Citrusy, hoppy nose. Delicious malty base with biscuits and lots of citrusy hops. Spicy, with herbal and resiny hints and a fruity touch. Superb beer.

Cask. RBESG Rome 2010. Almost clear amber golden with a small and rough off-white head. Sweetish fruity nose. Rather light body, sweet raspberry accents (?!) with a dry and fairly hoppy finish. 060610

Orange beer with medium and blond head. Aroma is fruitsfull, sweet, cloudberry-jelly, some baked rolls and redberries. Toffeeish, fruitish flavour and drying bitter end with some stuffyness. Nicely slippery to drink with balanced carbonation. Complex beer with great pleasand and some unpleasant nuancees, but overally this is positive beer, absolutely worth to try.

Slightly hazy amber color, small beige head. Sticky flowery hoppy, slightly honeyish aroma. Palate starts a bit watery. Flavor has honeyish hoppyness and malty notes. Crisp bitter aftertaste. Decent session beer, but the most "normal" English style brew I’ve had from Moor.
