Bottle ordered from Twisted Crow, Basingstoke. Aroma is malty, woody, a berry edge. Murky dark brown. Thin bubbly head barely sticks to half the rim. May have been a poor pour due to one of the cats taking an interest. Medium bitter, with a sour edge. Woody, very tart berries. Underlying sweet malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Flat-soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. A flavoursome and certainly bitter Bitter.

Fra fat på Company Inn i Nottingham 20 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Gylden. Lavt, lett farget luftig skum. Beskjeden nøttearoma. Smaken tørket frukt. Bare det. Kanskje hint av nøtter i avslutninga.

Cask @ Moon Under Water, Manchester. Deeper amber coloured with a small head. Seems to have a strength, but also a general crispness with a low bitterness.
