RBESG 2010, cask at Brasserie 4:20
Cloudy light amber color; good head. Nice aroma of hops, but also yeast and light green apples; quite British, pleasant. Light body, good caramel flavor, some toffee, evident but pleasant yeast presence; correct bitterness, with a very light lemony touch in the end. Good, yeasty brew.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours a lovely, rich gold with a foamy, white head. Nose of light caramel, some butterscotch. Flavor isnโ€™t very great, some light toffee sweetness (very light) and plenty of drab, leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish, some leafy hops, bit of caramel or some kind of none-too-sweet candy, not much else. A little watery. Below average.

Cask at the Queenโ€™s Head, Chelmsford, Essex on 27th Aug 2008. Amber coloured premium bitter. A balance of malt and hop sways quickly to the latter with grassy hop flavours abounding through the kick and finish with a very satisfying combination of mouthfeel and herby hop delicately softened by the malt presence. Delicious.
