Cask graviity at The london drinker beer fest. 2014. Clear pale golden colour with a loose white head. Aroma is pure hop sack, american c hop, light veg, some sharp lemon. Flavour is lemony earthy hop, slight sweet hop resin. Some back of the throat hop spice. Served a bit too warm. Smooth medium palate low carb. Solid.

Cask @ The Rake. Pours a golden yellow with a fresh cut grass aroma and a marked lemon bitterness taking the reins. Refreshing and highly drinkable.

Cask, gravity at The Beer in Hand, Hereford, Saturday 9th November 2013. Pours gold in colour, condition very good, sparkling with just a few light bubbles dancing across the top. Wonderfully hoppy, plenty of hoppy burps. Fresh, tasty beer. Crisp zippy, lemony and grapefruit flavours, very nice beer, I concentrated less on rating and more on guzzling we had three of these. Old Fountain. Cask. Almost clear gold beer. Tidy off white head. Light palate, a little crispness. Light thij malt. A very nice sweetish floral vibe gives way to a mildly sherbet lemon - lime. There is a whisper of yeasty sulphur that stops me bolting this. Finishes light and dry with some parma violets emerging. Well - a surprise all right. A new Otley high for me. Very very drinkable.

Bottle: Nose was initially some good soft fruits from the yeast, a lot of strawberry. However it faded very quickly and after a minute, was stale and musty. Appearance is very pale with no head. Taste is very bitter lemon, leading to a herbally finish with some resin. Mouthfeel is absolutely shocking, like tap water. Overall a mess. The use of American hops in a low strength pale ale has brought none of the big flavours of an American IPA, beyond the bitterness and the resin, it just made me want the real thing. The Mouthfeel is just disgraceful.

Hazy, lively golden beer with a thin, frothy head. Citrus and hop in the aroma. Taste is mild hop and citrus/zesty and a real bitter, flowery backtaste.

Aroma: Huge grapefruit aroma - very sharp and tangy. Subtle notes of honey and vine tomatoes.
Appearance: Hazy, pale yellow body with a thin white head. Lots of large yeast particles floating around. Light carbonation. Nice lacing.
Taste: Very light and refreshing. Quite yeasty with flavours of zingy lemon and grapefruit notes and a soft herbal, bitter finish.
Palate: Thin body with a watery, slightly oily mouthfeel. Light carbonation fizz.
Overall: Very thirst quenching and easy drinking. It tastes bright and fresh and the grapefruit aroma is excellent.
