Our immensely popular summer ale.
Very light in colour, produced using no coloured malts, but strong in character and flavour.
A blend of golding, fuggle and cascade hops give this beer a wonderfully refreshing zesty,
citrus taste and a light summer aroma.
A great summer drink from the cask and now available in a bottle.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear blonde colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is light gluey malt. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, yeasty, gluey, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Gift from the in-laws. Malty arma with sharp berries. A honey amber. Bright white forthy head. Imediate impact of heavy sweetness. There is a core of bitterness, moreso in the finish. However for me it's way too sweet: saccharine, fruit syrup. Urghhh. Light bodied. Thin. Average carb. Astringent finish. Pretty odd. Sweet, bitter, sweet... it's all over the place. And kinda industrial.

Pours an almost clear yellow gold colour with a small thin white head. a malty and fruity hop aroma. Quite a sweet light malt taste and a sweet citrus fruitiness. Not much bitterness in a slightly dry finish.

Bottle from Tesco, Manchester. Amber coloured with a thin head. Has a tropical fruity nose, but maltier in taste with a lot of grain and raw earthy ingredients here.

Bottle from Tesco, Holyhead [180615]
Golden, clear, frothy white head
Aroma of malted barley, soft yeast, caramel
Taste of caramel malts, malted barley, slightly earhy hops, touch of citrus, fairly malty, soft fruits, grain
Palate - Soft carb, light to medium body, soft sweet. Finish of soft sweet malts
Overall - More malty than expected from the colour. OK for a supermarket beer - found it a bit better than the Cwrw Braf
