Bottle: Very dark brown with a small beige head. Chocolate, dark baked bread aroma. Nut bread, chocolate malt taste.... Drinks with a surprisingly nice heft for such a light-weight.....pretty rich tasting.... Not bad at all.

Tasting at Matt’s
Dark brown color, near black, small head. A bit of dark caramel, a bit of dust, light residual sweetness, maybe a hint of lactose and dark chocolate, and not enough character.
Not bad, but shallow.

12 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out stale coffee grounds and light toasted malt. Flavour is pretty dry and toasted, but without much character or complexity, with toasted malt and stale coffee grounds. Nothing offensive, but nothing special either. Meh.

Bottle. Chocolate and earthy roasty malt aroma. Deep chestnut with a moderate tan head. Milk chocolate, coffee, and roasty flavor. Medium body, moderate carbonation. I’m rather impressed at the fullness of flavor out of a 4% ABV.

Bottle brought home from US by Paul. Beer pours a deep dark brown colour with a small tan colour head. Aroma of roasted chocolate, nutty, with coffee. Light sweetness, hint of sour. Body fairly light, oily texture, carbonation has a little fizz to it. Finish is a dry, and a bit sour with bitter coffee.

Bottled 355ml. -Finally! The most expected beers have arrived! Well, the story goes like this - my friend "Dragan the Drot" went to live to USA, Salt Lake City, so I’ve asked him to bring me some Wasatch beers when he would come to visit Croatia. So, he came here some four years ago, but have brought no beers. Then, a week later, his girlfriend came too, and he said she was bringing the beers. But, again no beers - they said she was thirsty and drank them while waiting for plane to catch....hmm?! Some time after that, he has sent a package - I though this is it, but no, he has sent a bottle of tequilla! (very good tequila but never mind). And now, after six years of waiting, my friend has come to visit again and this time he has brought a bunch of Wasatchs beers plus one Squatters! Heeeellll Yeaaahhhh!!!
Now something about beer itself...Dark amber/brown coloured, small beige head that went away fast, light roasty nose. Roasted malt, light coffee and dried wruits with touch of chocolate in the finish. Also a bit too watery and rather light porter.

tap at McStiff’s - I tried polygamy and it was kind of a letdown. The beer pours near black with a small tan head. It has a mild, chocolate led aroma. The flavor is sweet with some roast character and chocolate malt. It’s weak for a porter and rather watery. It’s alright, but a little underwhelming.

A redfisn brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, a weird biscuit malt with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a light nutty roasted malt with grassy hops, so-so.
