12 oz bottle. Pours a deep amber brown with a very light tan head. Brown sugar aroma with cocoa and a light roastiness. Flavor also starts with brown sugar, has some light roasted coffee, a little cocoa, and a little cream. Light palate, but the flavors are actually quite good. I can definitely see this as a pretty nice session beer.

12 oz bottle thanks to Sledutah. Used an English pint glass. Thin head, next to nothing as far as lace. Nose of roasted malt. Flavor is roasted notes, light chocolate with a good amount of bitter coffee in the finish. Dry. I really like coffee notes in porters and stouts. For me this porter is a bit above average. Has a light silky chocolate texture to it. A lot of flavor for 4% ABV.

Sampled at Texas Beerfest. Pours a dark amber with a small beige head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is light roast and smoke. Thin mouthfeel and a bit watery with a sweet raisin taste. A decent porter from Wasatch.

Draft T the Hilton in salt lake city when Imissed my flight to Portland. Seemed appropriate to choose this one while drinking with the Mormons. It was a middle of the road English porter with hints of chocolate and coffee

Not terrible for a low abv American-style porter, but it’s below average for the style as a whole. The beer pours dark brown, almost transparent despite the color, with a dissipating head. Not particularly exciting. The aroma is mostly washed-out roasted malt. Some of the nice ashy dry porter flavor shows up, but it’s too little, too late. There’s a hint of chocolatey malt, but I’m not quite sure if I just assume it’s there and my mind is making up the flavor, a sort of pavlovian porter effect. Mouthfeel is fine. Ok session beer, forgettable porter.

12 oz bottle. Halfway decent porter. The most special thing about this beer is the label. Smells like wheat bread gone bad. Seems to get less interesting as it warms. No detectable aftertaste. Doesn’t leave much of an impression. By the time I finished it, I thought it was the worst porter I’d ever had. Started decent, ended poorly.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of BelgianBeerGal. Thanks! Pours a dark ruby tinted brown color with a thin head, good retention and lacing. Huge chocolate notes in the aroma with faint roast and hops. Taste is chocolate, caramel and coffee with the faintest nutty finish. Medium bodied. Quite nice. 6/4/8/4/14
