Bottle. Pours nearly clear copper brown with airy light beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with touches of hops and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sourish, grainy touches and sweetish notes of yeast and caramel malt. Malty and estery aftertaste with acidic touches. High carbonation. Decent.

Half-litre on tap in Foersters Feine Bier on 13th October 2021. Misty brown body, off-white head that stayed a while. The nose held malty esters with a trace of fruitiness and a promise of nuts (they didn't turn up though). Taste was also malt first with some fruity notes, a herbal twist or two in the flavours too. Nice start to my five beer session.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, redd-ish, amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty, minimally grainy and bready, nutty aroma, a touch of caramel, malt lozenge, some protein. Taste is slightly dry, minimally sweet, caramel and dark malty, hints of malt lozenge and caramel, a touch of protein, a nutty touch, midly bitter, minimally grassy hoppy counterpart. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well crafted, well balanced - very nice!

Bottle. Cloudy red amber, golden cream. Flowery hops on juicy malt aroma, a hint sulphur. Doughty base, minerally spring water, soft caramel, interesting umami notes, light caramel retronasal. Chewy medium body, mellow.

500ml bottle. New style for me as my first Zoigl. Slightly cloudy brown with a nice beige head. Aroma is malty, grains, nutty. Taste is sweet and malty, caramel/toffee, grains, nutty, light bitterness. Medium bodied and light-moderate carbonation. Nice.

Flaska från Hier Gibt’s Bier. Klar bärnstensfärgad vätska med högt stabilt skum. Bröd, jäst, mineraler, kryddor, lätt höig beska. Ganska komplex. Först söt men mineraler och kryddor ger en ganska torr smakbild trots lätt beska. Gott

500ml bottle from the Offie, Leicester, and drunk at home. It pours amber-brown and clear with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Light notes of wood, caramel, date syrup. Taste is surprisingly sweet with stone fruit and toffee to the fore, with some bitter hoppiness before the short finish. Medium carbonation. Light but very moreish. Good stuff.

From the Elsflether Hol-Ab. Amber with a brownish hue. The frothy head fades completely. Aroma a mix of mixed grains and caramel. A touch fruity. Taste is sweet up front, bittersweet at the end with the bitterness taking the upper hand. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Pleasant.
