(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Bov. Pours black and opaque with a dense, beige head. Distinct aroma of cocoa powder. Medium body, lightly acidic, roasted malts with distinct cocoa notes, some fruit and a very subdued bitterness. Not much of a Stout really. 150607

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of cocoa, roasted malt, and caramel, reminds me of a chocolate bar. The flavor is sweet, but at the same time acidic, the latter probably from the hard roasted malt, the strongest notes are from milk chocolate. I find the body thin especially comparing to the ABV. I bit too much cocoa for my taste.
