Bottle @ Hops Beer Bar. Pours black with beige head. Nose of a "traditional new wave ipa". Nice combination of piney notes and fruits but there’s some "dark" notes to it as well, mainly coffee and cocoa. In taste it has the same notes with long lasting, bitterish finish. Nice one.

Bottle from the lcbo. Black pour, slight reddish hues poke through the bottom, with a large, sticky beige head with great lacing. Aroma is sweet soy, and very very roasty malts. Lovely semi sweet pine aromas, hints of coconut, and sweet butter cocoa. Silky mouth feel, soft carb. Roasty finish, soft pine, light coffee, and chocolate.

Bottle from Hopt. Just the right balance between fruity hops and roasted malt. Fruity aroma with chocolate, citrus, pine, roast, some coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Lovely Black IPA, just how I like 'em best.

Аромат цитрусовый, очень фруктово-хмелевой. Цвет темный, легкая кремовая пенка. Вкус кремовый, горький в меру ( пока не согреется ) Ощущается хмель и жженый солод. В послевкусие сильно ощущается шоколадно кофейная кислинка. Классическая черная Ипа .

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Orange peel and roast in the aroma. Malty sweet, firm roasty flavor with licorice, peppermint, grapefruit and orange peel/ I have trouble really getting into these roasty black IPA’s, but this no doubt is a good beer.

330ml bottle. Pours almost black with a massive beige head. Aroma of citrusy hops, chocolate, grapefruit, pine. Taste is malty, chocolate, berries, pine, grapefruit, light roast, bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very nice BIPA.
