750 mL bottle from NIkki’s Liquors, Providence. Pours a hazy amber color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of big honey notes, clover, floral, earthy notes, toasted caramel malts. The taste is honey, citrus, earth, toasted caramel malts, floral, and citrus notes. Medium bodied. Quite different, and quite tasty.

Bottled@Chriso "Donkey Dork Lord" pre-gbbf shindig 2011. Golden colour, small slightly off-white head, that leaves slight lace. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild tropical fruity and herbal notes along with sweet malts and some caramel. Flavour is sweet malts, caramel, some zest, fruits, mild honey, tropical fruit juice and quite bitter floral and grassy notes as well. Though I’m not that fond of IPA and DIPA, this was very nicely balanced! In fact I even had a bit more of it!

Capped 750 from Half Time. Pours gold with a foamy whiteish head. Nice floral/fruit aroma. Med body. Flavor has honey underlying a heck of a lot of bitter hop. Suggests resin - but might be strong grass. Not exactly dry, but it’s quite bitter. A busy beer.

Bottle to start my weekend. Pours a clear golden with great fluffy head that lasts. Nose is floral, honey, and tropical fruit. Taste is of honey, malt, bready, lemon, pineapple, some pepper, and grass. It’s drying on the palate but the taste lingers. Another great one from excelsior series

Bottle at Chriso’s. Brilliant, almost pastel, yellow. Aroma is of rich grains, honey, lemon. Sweet-and-sour flavor, tangy, grainy, with spices and strong bitterness at the finish. Great.

Bottle at ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting. Really cloudy dirty lemon colour. Lovely hop throughout. Really loved the hops, really good piney hops even though the beer looked terrible.

22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Hazy gold beer, no head. Light dry crisp palate. Honeyish malt and good hops with a noticeable hop spice. A litte bit unusual and decent.
