A refreshing ale with a strong character; its fruity taste comes from barley grown in the Nord department of France and its highly aromatic yeast, its bitterness from a specific variety of hops.

Large bottle from Real Ale Store, Newark. Rich golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is grassy, bread spice and yeast. Taste is smooth light honey sweet and dry bitter on the finish. So refreshing, nice beer.

[backlog] 31-12-15 / bottle at home, bought in France. A lot of foam, typical Biere de Garde. Well carbonated. Medium sweet body. Bitter finish. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 2.75/5
