A thin white head (soft can, this might be an aberration) on a golden body. A solid nose features a range of tropical fruit, a touch of pine and ample caramel malt. Taste has a mixture of fresh fruity tastes, a slight resin, orange peel bite, caramel malt and a light spiciness. Tasty and drinkable indeed.

355ml can. Pours a hazy amber-orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head. Aroma of bready caramel malt, orange, grapefruit, peach, earthy yeast and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of caramel malt, orange peel, grapefruit pith, peach, pine resin, floral and spicy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A solid old school IPA.

[12oz can from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A hazy amber pour with a dense cream coloured head; resinous, sinus-clearing, hoppy aroma; super-dry on the palette, with the hops almost stripping the lining of my mouth, but not quite, leaving some peach and other tropical fruit flavours; leading to a bittersweet finish with traces of caramel nicely balancing the ever present hops. A well-made, well-balanced IPA.
