Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are Aroma and taste are flowers, malt, caramel and hops. Nice mouthfeel.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Strong ginger notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear amber golden with a small off-white head. Nutty nose. Light body, roasted malt and nutty accents - perhaps a wee whiff of ginger. Dry and lightly bitter finish. 070209

Bottle, 4.5%. Buttery aroma. Almost clear dark amber colour. The flavour has a little butter, but also a weak grassy hoppiness.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a fully gone head. Mild malty and slight hoppy aroma, classicUK hops - a bit on the spiced/tobacco side. Medium dry and hoppy base flavoured with a light malty note. Light bitter finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma sweet malty combined with notes of nuts and some hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts and toffee, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear ruby, small head. Evident spicy cardamom aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded, blown up mouthfeel. The cardamom-like spicyness is strong, diluted by roast crystal malt. The bitterness is subtle. I’m not sure I like the spicyness in this one.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, mid-sized, slowly collapsing lacy head, zoasted-malty nose with discreet hints of Golding hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, smooth MF; distinctive peppery bitterness in the finish. Pleasant stuff........

Bottled (thanks cgarvieuk). Rubyish orange colour, not much head. Aroma is sweetish flowery and grassy with a weird "stinging dryness" (from the thistle?). Quite sharp thing. Flavour is very much the same with a very big grassyness and some salty notes. Quite pleasant.

Dark amber color, small creamy beige head, some lace. Caramel, menthol and herbs. Average nutty malty flavor, thistle is very evident here, similar to ginger! Interesting "Christmas" ale, good? One time is enough.
