It is an average lager, perfect with the wet weather in Ventiane, malty, some hop, well balanced, tasting it during my trip in Laos in 2006, so a really long time ago.

Dorada limpia de espuma blanca, abundante cremosa y de retención media. Buen aspecto. Aroma a cereal, ligeramente floral. En boca es muy ligera, poco carbónica, maltosa y cereal pero menos dulzona que la mayoría de lager asiáticas, y de amargor entre bajo y moderado. Bebible

Old rating from Feb 2017 - A gift from a friend who'd been to Laos. A 330ml bottle which pours as a clear straw colour with a small white head. Aromas of sweet malt & corn. Tastes medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain & lactose. Aftertaste has a sweet light bitter finish. Reasonable for the region it comes from

Big bottle. Pale golden, not a pleasant aroma. A slight step above the average pale yellow SE Asian lager but not too bad on a hot day with spicy food. And of course the price tag helps, as well as the near-monopoly...

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold, small white head, decent lasting, moderate moving carbonation. Standard aroma of pale lager malts, some grass and vegetable starch, hint of sweetness. Taste is cereals, sugar and rice. Poor finish is mostly just sweet malts and only a hint of grassy bitterness. Good light refreshing body that isn't watery, decent carbonation. Average but more than drinkable.

$3.30 single from Appalachian. Clear Solo cup at home since we still don't have clean water. +1day since the election. Nothing we do matters. MFG: JI/JH/BBJBB Extra frothy. Jellied pale gold pour. Smells of sweet frosted breakfast cereal, soft floral & some old nobility. Taste was surprising. A lack of skunk or putridness. Bittersweet leaning sweet cereal, grainy middle, weak but better than expected, lingering noble bitterness, arugula bite, sweet endtrails. Super frothy but very mellow carb, starch smooth sweet body, chill vibes. Keep cold. Kinda okay.
